ANAYA

Jacqueline Anaya, Anaya Acupuncture & Apothecary

I offer relaxing holistic treatments consisting of acupuncture, tuina massage, cupping, gua sha, herbal and nutritional guidance to resolve a broad spectrum of pain and medical conditions.  I have ten years+ in private practice and served as an acupuncturist for the Mayo Clinic and Veteran Affairs Medical Center.  I have continually expanded my education through advanced training in the east-west complexity of treating fertility, skin care, post-traumatic stress disorder, cancer, digestive issues and every kind of pain.  I'm attuned to subtle energy, trained as a Reiki Master and Cranio-Sacral Therapist L1. I offer herbal guidance, and can have both raw and formulated herbal medicine mailed to your home.

As a life-long learner I'm always evolving through education, meditation and personal growth.  I started practicing Vipassana Meditation in 2008 which fundamentally altered my life, as much as discovering acupuncture had done.   This path clearly reveals how our deepest wounds deserve the subtlest touch.

I'm a licensed acupuncturist & herbalist by the states of Georgia, Florida, California and by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I love to travel & work collaboratively.

Background & Education at Emperor's College

Jacqueline Anaya, L.Ac

Branches of my family are drawn to Eastern Medicine.  I have a cousin, Dr.Goran Car who is an acupuncturist and a western medical doctor practicing in Zagreb, Croatia.

I'm proud to be a graduate of Emperor's College in Santa Monica, California. Emperor's College is considered one of the most spiritual and scholarly of all Traditional Oriental Medicine Colleges. The day of graduation from Emperor's College our class was asked to take a Healer's Oath. The last principles spoke deeply to me: "Cultivate myself so that I might serve my patients and the world more effectively. Recognize that all true healing is healing of the Spirit."
